Places of Worship

This round of visits had a different focus than those in the past. Some were linked with other activities / events which provided opportunity for participants to ‘look around’ if they have not had the opportunity to do so previously and also to participate in talks and discussions with a faith perspective. The visits contributed to inter-faith dialogue. A number of visits before the end of 2009 took place during foci weeks eg Peace Week, Make a Difference Week and One World Week, developing partnership with different faith communities and the recently established Women’s Workshop. In the New Year we will include visits to minority faith community places of worship, which have not been visited previously.
